Mathlish Tutoring Services is a well- known name for 11+ Maths, SATs, KS3, GCSE, IGCSE and A Level Tuitions and Revision Courses in Maths and Science. We are pioneer of small group tutoring, with 30 years of experience. We have a proven track record of excellent results with 100% pass rate.Our courses are designed to support students in their learning by delivering our interactive lesson based on national curriculum specification. The session include explanation followed by past exam examination questions. The homework is set weekly which is mostly marked by the students so that they become responsible for their own learning.

About Me:

I am a passionate, approachable, and enthusiastic teacher/ tutor with a wealth of knowledge regarding examinations techniques to facilitates in improving students` understanding of the subject. I take great care when planning for my tutoring sessions as I understand that every individual learns in a distinct way and therefore ensures that work set for my students are tailored specifically to suit their learning approach and aptitude/ability so that the sessions are as beneficial for them as possible.

Throughout, I keep the focus on the National Curriculum and past papers resources along with a wide variety of teaching methods to aid my teaching. I like covering individual topics in a comprehensive way so that the student fully understands the concepts and can apply them to different types of questions. My friendly, yet disciplined style along with a calm and patient demeanour, is successful in helping students gain confidence in topics they find difficult. I endeavour to ensure all the theory is established before applying the knowledge to examination style questions.

I teach Maths, Science across the Key Stages, I also help pupils preparing for SATs, 11plus. 13+ & IGCSE exams with consistent homework and exam style questions. My homework is always challenging which students mark themselves and take control of their progressive learning.

I have experience  of 31years and understanding working with students from various backgrounds and with a wide range of educational needs and I am keen to work with new students as I believe it is important to inspire and motivate young children to encourage them to achieve the best in themselves.

I am a qualified teacher (M.Sc. B. Ed PGCE Dip in Leadership and Management) with experience of three decades of teaching in outstanding comprehensive, selective schools, schools in abroad and thousands of hours of tutoring for various age and ability range.
